How it works

Swipe right to keep a photo, swipe left to clear it — or use the buttons.
Tap a photo to see its date, location on a map, camera details, size, and a quality score.
Similar photos stack up. Keep the stack and Photo Sort keeps the sharpest one and clears the rest. You can pick the keeper yourself from the filmstrip.
Undo any swipe, and review everything before deleting.

Does it delete photos automatically?

No. Nothing is deleted until you tap “Delete” and confirm the system prompt.

Where do deleted photos go?

To your Recently Deleted album, where they’re recoverable for 30 days.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

Never. Photo Sort works entirely on your device and sends nothing to any server.

Why does it ask for Photos access?

It needs to read your library to show photos for review. You can also grant limited access and pick which photos to include.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone on iOS 17 or later. The Liquid Glass interface appears on iOS 26 and later.
