Photo Sort

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

Data Not Collected

Photo Sort is built to be private. The app runs entirely on your device. It does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal data, and it has no servers of its own.

Photos

To let you sort your library, Photo Sort requests permission to access your photos. Photos are read only to display them on screen for review and to compute on-device information such as duplicates and a quality score. Your photos are never uploaded or sent anywhere.

Deleting photos

Nothing is ever deleted automatically. Photos you choose to discard are removed only after you tap “Delete” and confirm the system prompt. Deleted items go to your Recently Deleted album and remain recoverable for 30 days, per iOS.

Location

If a photo contains location data (saved by your camera), Photo Sort may show it on a map inside the photo’s details. This happens on-device using the coordinate already stored in the photo. The app does not request or track your live location.

No tracking, analytics, ads, or accounts

Photo Sort contains no analytics or advertising SDKs, performs no tracking across apps or websites, and does not require an account or any sign-in. No third parties receive your data.

Children

Photo Sort does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
